At Precision Printworks, we’re kicking off the new year with exciting developments across several projects. From finalizing new products to unveiling fresh ideas, here’s what we’ve been working on this month.
SK550 Airsoft Mine
The SK550 continues to evolve based on valuable feedback from testers. One of the most notable changes we’re implementing is the shift from PIR sensors to mmWave radar sensors. These new sensors will improve sensitivity, increasing the detection range and ensuring faster, more reliable activation.
We’re also working on integrating ESP-NOW communication to support a custom handheld “detonator” (controller). This addition will make arming and controlling the SK550 more intuitive while reducing Bluetooth command lag.
Finally, we’ve refined the baseline calculation process to improve reliability in varying environments. Expect a more responsive and powerful SK550 in the near future!
